Friends:

Promote the Riverdale Branch Library in the community and act as an advocacy group with state and local governments.
 
Provide assistance for library programs, open houses, and other projects.
 
Help raise special funds to purchase equipment and materials not available through the regular library budget.
 
Assist the library with ad­vertising and staffing events Sponsor book talks, used book sales, children's and adult events.
